COOPERAÇÃO UNIVERSIDADE BRAWIJAYA MALANG(Indonesia) COM EAST TIMOR COFFE ACADEMY(ETICA)

Rector of Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Prof Dr Ir Yogi Sugito and the Director of International Office UB Prof.  Ifar Subagiyo visit East Timor Coffee Academy (ETICA) on Saturday (17/9). The visit is conducted to fulfill the invitation from the director of ETICA Ir. Lucio Marcal Gomes, to sign the extension of cooperation between UB and ETICA. The event is held in ETICA campus in Gleno Ermera Timor Leste attended by all academic society member of ETICA and representative of US C Canada NGO.
The rrlation between the two institution has been started since the signing of cooperation between UB Rector and ETICA Director on 2005. The activity that has been conducted based on the cooperation agreement covers S2 education for ETICA lecturers in UB. Joint effort to make ETICA an accredited education institute in Timor Leste and leaders visit exchange to know the academic atmosphere of the two institutions. Evaluation on the activity that has been done shows that there are positive development so that the cooperation will be extended for the next five years.
Some of the activities that has been prepared for the future covers aid for ETICA to become Timor Leste
Agriculture Institute on 2013 and the opening of S2 education program in the fields of agrocomplex. On current visit of UB Rector, there is a strong demand to realize the S2 program, specifically agriculture.
The group went back to Indonesia on September 18, 2011 after the Rector got the chance to interact and give motivation to ETICA campus to develop the potential of resource owned to improve the people's welfare. [ifar/pon]

O Reitor da Academia de café de Timor Leste (ETICA), Ir. Lucio Marçal Gomes com os seus grupos foram visitaram a Universidade Brawijaya Malang Indonésia,no dia 24 de Julho de 2005. Está visita directamente recebem pelo Reitor Universidade Brawijaya Malang. Prof. Dr. Ir.  Yogi Sugito e o Director da Cooperação Externa, Dr. Ir. IFAR Subagiyo. Antes da reunião com Reitor da Universidade Brawijaya Malang, esta equipa foram visitou directamente Administração da Pós-Graduação UBM do Programa, que mediatamente foi receberam pelo secretário da pós- Graduação UBM, Dr. Ir. Bambang Rahardjo Tri.

 Entre tanto, o Ir. Lucio Marçal Gomes nomeado que, o objectivo esta visita é um instrumento fundamental realização da cooperação entre a Universidade Brawijaya Malang e a East Timor Caffe Academy (ETICA) em 2005. Eles foram acrescentou que, através desta visita, eles atingiram seguindo dois dos seus funcionários que foram a estudar em Universidade Brawijaya Malang. As duas candidatos são Ir. Mathius M. de Jesus, mestrado em Economia Agrícola e o Melino Salzinko, Licienciado em Ciências Agrárias. Eles foram bolseiros pelo East Timor Caffe Academy (ETICA) Alem disso, Eles pediu-lhe o Reitor da Universidade Brawijaya Malang para visitar East Timor Caffe Academy (ETICA) essencialmente renovar a cooperação que irá finalizar em 2010.

Além disso, Ir. Lucio M. Gomes e os seus funcionários discutiram a possibilidade de outras formas de cooperação entre Universidade Brawijaya Malang e com East Timor Caffe Academy (ETICA) e outras Universidades do mundo inteiro. Relacionados com o estudo de pós-graduação, East Timor Caffe Academy (ETICA) é uma nova academia em Timor-Leste que foi fundada no dia 17,de Maio de 2003. A academia dispõe de 4 departamentos, Agronomia, Agro- negócio e Gestão, Pós-Colheita, Tecnologia e Agro-florestal. Além disso, Departamento de Horticultura também está em sua maneira de ser estabelecida......................................................................................................................
